What We Believe

We are Christians — we believe, receive and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
John 3:16, 1 John 5:12-13, John 1:12, Romans 10:9, Matthew 10:32.

We are a part of the body of Christ, composed of all true Christians regardless of denominations.
We’re not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

God
Eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Created all, upholds all and governs all things. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:8, Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19-20, John 10:30, Hebrews 1:3).

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the foundation and cornerstone of the church. He came to restore man's broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. Because of His love demonstrated on the cross by dying for our sins, we now have reason to fellowship with one another and proclaim salvation through His life, death, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 3:11, Ephesians 2:20, Romans 5:6-10).
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore we emphasis teaching it, studying it, and using it as a guide for our daily lives (Acts 20:32, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
Worship
We believe God is worthy of all our worship, and it’s our goal to do so with our whole lives; at home, at work, and at play.
We take time to praise Him in the church service with heartfelt music and song.
(John 4:23, Colossians 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Love
Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words and actions (John 13:34-35, 1 Corinthians 13:13, Philippians 2:3).
Christian Growth
Our desire is to know Christ and be conformed into His image, likeness, and example by the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through His Word, prayer, fellowship and by yielding our lives to the indwelling and empowering Holy Spirit (John 15:5, Romans 8:29, Acts 1:8).
Christian Service
Christian service is part of the Christian life, and we desire that every person develops in their ministry for the benefit of the church, the community, the country and the world (Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
